On Friday August 27th, soprano Abagael Cheng and pianist Zachary Saffa will perform works by Copland, Heggie, Boulanger, and Dunphy, including the world premiere of Facing Shadows, a piece composed for this recital by Kari Watson. This program grapples with feelings of grief and shame and how they can be transformed through processes of healing.
